Das Ziel dieses Projektes war die Erstellung eines Buchungs- bzw. Zugangssystems für diverse Laborautomatisierungen bzw. Laboranlagen. In Zusammenarbeit mit der Firma stradego GmbH, die für die webbasierte Informationsaufbereitung und Darstellung zuständig war, wurde die Anbindung und Programmierung aller externen Systeme durchgeführt: RFIDs (OBID Feig Elektronik), WebIOs (W&T), S7-300 und ET200 Module (Siemens) und webbasierte Netzsteckerleisten (Leunig). Dabei wurde ein Server (C#) erstellt, der als allgemeine Schaltzentrale agierte. Die Schaltbefehle werden mit Hilfe von RFIDs oder aus dem überlagerten Informationssystem über eine MySQL Datenbank an den Server übergeben. Die MySQL Datenbank wird gleichzeitig als Archivsystem für alle Zustände und Schaltvorgänge genutzt. Die Anbindung der Peripherie wurde durch TCP/IP (HTTP, native und APIs) über die serielle Schnittstellen Kommunikation RS-232 und über den Profibus realisiert.
